On July 14, 2024, BAPS Charities hosted its annual “In the Joy of Others: Walk-Run” in Milford, Connecticut, benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Milford. This year’s event united nearly 230 community members, including Milford Mayor Anthony S. Giannattasio and State Representative Kathy Kennedy, to support the club’s mission of helping all youth, especially those in need, reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
The event showcased a diverse range of participants, from youth to seniors, all united for a common cause. Megan Altomare, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Milford, reflected on the event’s significance, saying, “I am greatly inspired by what the BAPS community is doing.”
The walk provided an opportunity for participants to engage in a healthier lifestyle and underscored the profound impact of collective efforts in addressing local needs and challenges.
