In November 2023, BAPS Charities held its annual “In the Joy of Others” Holiday food collection drive in Long Island, NY, demonstrating the spirit of giving and community support. The drive saw enthusiastic participation from families, children, youth, and volunteers, who collectively donated more than 100 lbs of vegetarian food. This substantial contribution, comprising individual items such as pantry staples, canned vegetables, cereals, and biscuits, aimed to support those in need.
The donations were delivered to the Local Police and Fire department supported Food Drive in January 2024. BAPS Charities thanks all volunteers and donors of diverse ages and backgrounds who came together to help the community.
