BAPS Charities in Perth organised its annual food collection drive and donation on 30th May 2023.
Over the month of May, families, children, youth and volunteers of BAPS generously collected and donated over 2 tonnes of vegetarian food, including pantry items, canned vegetables, pasta and biscuits , to support those in need during this following this years Easter period.
The food collected is being donated to the Spiers Centre. Dr Suresh Rajan, Chief Executive Office of Spiers Centre was overwhelmed with the support and generosity and indicated that this generous donation help so many people who are facing homelessness amidst the ongoing inflation issues families are being faced with.
Dr. Suresh Rajan thanked the entire BAPS Charities team for their selfless service and generous donations over so many years.
