BAPS Charities Nairobi visited the drought stricken Kajiado County on 2nd October 2022. The Kajiado area has experienced insufficient rainfall over the last 2 years. This has negatively impacted the residents and their livestock. Thousands of cattle are at risk of starvation and require urgent feed and water.
In response to this looming famine, BAPS Charities Nairobi in partnership with Hari Om group donated 600 bales of hay fodder to livestock keepers in KMQ Town with support from the Area Chief. BAPS Charities volunteers Mr. Pradip and Mr. Shivam from Hari Om group distributed the hay directly to the keepers, ensuring the hay reaches their cattle. BAPS Charities will continue to support such catastrophes under the Humanitarian Relief pillar.
