On April 16th, 2020, BAPS Charities Uganda in conjunction with Prayosha Group and POA Tanks carried out a third donation of Food items, Water tanks and Hand sanitizer worth 61,625,000 Ugandan shillings.
1000 food packets were channelled through the Office of the Prime Minister to help over one 1000 families affected by the COVID-19 situation. To promote hygiene, Hand sanitizers and Water tanks to wash hands before entering government offices were provided. Photocopy paper and Ruled paper to use in these offices were also donated.
Details of the items included in the donations:
5000 Kg of Maize flour, 1500 Kg of Beans, 1000 litres of Cooking Oil, 1000 Kg of Rice, 1000 Kg of Sugar, 800 Kg of Salt, 1000 pieces of 800 gram Soap, 1000 packets of 100 gram Tea leaves, 750 Rims of Photocopy paper, 250 Rims of Rules Paper, and 25 Water tanks of 250 litres each.
