To raise community awareness about COVID-19 or novel coronavirus disease, BAPS Charities organized a health awareness lecture in Saint Louis, MO on March 7, 2020.
The health awareness lecture helped attendees understand the source of the virus, how to protect oneself from being infected. Attendees took away best practices including, avoiding close contact with people who are sick, avoiding touching eyes, nose and mouth, covering one’s mouth or nose with their elbow or sleeve while coughing or sneezing, frequent washing of hands, and staying at home if sick.
