The Chris Baragwanath hospital in Soweto is the largest government financed hospital in South Africa. The neo-natal theatre in the hospital was in urgent need of infant radiator warmers that are used for premature born babies and infants who are unable to regulate their body temperature due to a birth defect or from other complications.
On the 2nd of December 2018, BAPS Charities responded to this urgent need and donated an Infant Radiator Warmer, worth R65000 to the hospital. The neo-natal team were pleased with the donation and re-emphasized how this would help towards providing relief towards some of the issues they were facing.
