BAPS Charities in partnership with M.P. Shah Hospital organised a free Medical Camp on Sunday 22nd April to provide healthcare support and Medical awareness to the community. The camp was held at the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple on Forest Road, Nairobi. More than 300 people from different communities benefited from this noble initiative.
A team of over 50 doctors, volunteers and paramedical staff rendered their services in the camp. Patients went through a diabetes screening, ENT screening, dental screening and doctors’ consultations. More than a 100 patients have been diagnosed for further treatment.
Speaking on this important initiative, one BAPS Charities representative said, “We are committed towards the betterment of the Society we live in. Under BAPS Charities, we undertake activities in the larger interest of the community especially in the areas of Health, Education, Community Empowerment and Disaster Relief. We will continue to organize and support such instrumental initiatives.”
