To better equip volunteers to handle emergency situations in the community, BAPS Charities organized an Adult and Infant CPR Training session at the Washington DC mandir on May 16, 2015. A total of 12 women volunteers participated in this training. The training was conducted by instructors from the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland, led by Deborah Aksamit. Each individual received a certificate upon successful completion of the training.
Awareness and enhancing the skillset of individuals to effectively respond to emergency medical situations is an everlasting need in our communities, and BAPS Charities remains committed to promoting such ongoing education.
