BAPS Charities in Tanzania visited the Kisutu Girls Secondary School on the 12th of March to hand over a check worth Tsh 8,490,000 for a year’s school fees and uniforms for 68 underprivileged students.
The Kisutu Girls Secondary School is a government school founded in 1951. At present, there are 800 students enrolled in the school, with 48 teachers. A variety of classes are offered at the school, ranging from Mathematics to English. BAPS Charities supports the school in various ways throughout the year. In addition to this donation, BAPS Charities has committed to supporting the students’ further education through scholarships and grants. Additionally, 50 chairs for the school library were also donated.
By promoting educational excellence and achievement for all, BAPS Charities is working to build a more just community in Tanzania.
