Every quarter, BAPS Charities host blood donation drives in major centres around South Africa. The purpose of these drives is to support the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) to collect blood for medical purposes. South African blood stock levels are below international standards, hence BAPS Charities recognises the need to support the SANBS on an ongoing basis.
