As part of its 2014 project under the Medical Services pillar BAPS Charities administered Polio Vaccination to 1,050 people from various communities and an additional 100 Yellow Fever Vaccination.
The event administered and managed by a group of volunteers and team of 6 from the County Council of Nairobi kicked off at 10am and went on till late in the afternoon.
Speaking during the Vaccination Drive, Nitin Mandaliya, Member of the BAPS Charities said “We are extremely happy with the turnout and we are glad to have been at the service of the community. We would like to appreciate Nairobi County Council for availing themselves on a Sunday to support the cause and look forward to partnering with them for more such drives in the future.”
