To help save lives and assist with the overwhelming demand of blood in the country, BAPS Charities Nairobi, Kenya, organized a blood donation drive on 8th September, 2013. BAPS Charities partnered with the Kenya National Blood Transfusion Service (KNBTS) that carries out Blood donation drives in various locations around the country.
The team of 40 BAPS volunteers together with 14 staff members from the KNBTS collected a significant 124,650 cc’s of blood from a total of 310 registered donors. Donors aged 16 – 65, all from numerous communities within Nairobi, showcased their extraordinary compassion to make a difference and help save lives with their vital donation
