BAPS Charities held its first quarterly Blood Donation Drive in Lenasia, Johannesburg on Sunday, 23 February 2014. Quarterly drives are held every year in major centres across the country to support the efforts of the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) to collect blood from donors to meet medical demand. On this occasion, a total of 46 pints of blood was collected thanks to the community and members of the public who responded to the call to donate. BAPS Charities will be hosting further donation drives across the country during the course of the year to support this worthy and important cause.
